“Rapunzel and the Return of the Falcons” is a German-Czech television film and the directorial debut of Christoph Heimer, based on a screenplay by Max Honert, produced in 2023. The film was produced by PROVOBIS Gesellschaft für Film und Fernsehen mbH on behalf of ZDF as part of the Märchenperlen fairy tale film series. Its premiere in Germany took place on December 24, 2023, on ZDF.

The fairy tale “Rapunzel and the Return of the Falcons” is a production of PROVOBIS FILM, produced by Jens C. Susa in co-production with MIA Film for ZDF, and supported by the Czech State Cinematography Fund. The commissioning editor at ZDF is Jörg von den Steinen. Worldwide distribution is handled by ZDF Studios (formerly ZDF Enterprises).

Filming took place from April 18 to May 17, 2023, in Prague and the surrounding area.

The German television premiere was broadcast on December 24 on ZDF.
